NaNoWriMo: Day 11

Hi y’all!
I know I haven’t posted in a long, long, long, long time, but I’ve been super busy. And had nothing at all to say.
Well, I’ve currently written 15,044 words. That’s nine chapters. I’m not very far into the book either, plot-wise … so I imagine this is going to be a pretty big book. But that’s before I take out the editorial scissors and begin snipping.
I’ve been having the common “on and off” writer’s block which reminds me a lot of the weather we’ve been having here recently; on and off, on and off, the rain starts, the rain stops, the sun shines, the sun hides. I prefer the rain, actually. Rain is so refreshing and we’ve been having a drought-y year!
How does Ivy Inquisitive look? Well, like a first draft mess! At least it exists; that’s a positive mark, right? I refuse to think that it might be better unwritten! It will look better after a couple editing drafts … won’t it? 😉
Have a nice Wednesday!

  1. LOL for admitting that you “had nothing at all to say.” Whew, I guess I’m not the only one that that happens to. I marvel at how some bloggers can post something every day and actually have it be interesting. Anyway, I liked your post and good luck with the writer’s block.

  2. Yay! You posted!
So, Kell, is 15,044 words a lot or a little?
How many pages do you think Ivy Inquisitive is gonna be???
