Well, guys, I’ve made a tough decision.
I’m going to focus on editing/revising Ivy Introspective and The Dressmaker’s Secret for these next couple months to the exclusion of all other projects.
What does that mean? No more Flowers?! Well, I’ve almost finished the story, and I think I need a second opinion to keep going. To see if it has an actual direction (because Bailey was wondering, and if Bailey was wondering … 😛 ). So I’m gonna grab a random person and ask them to read it.
So, what is this editing/revising of IvIn and TDS gonna entail? Well, I’m doing some pretty intense rewrites of TDS, especially from Chapter 26 on. I’m not going to change the plot, but I feel like I need to lengthen the ending some. It feels rushed. Other than that, I’m mostly just gonna do some general editing and add a couple scenes in here or there.
For IvIn … regular editing stuff. Nothin’ more to say here …
But guys, you’ve got to keep me accountable, okay? If I start talking about other projects until I’m good and ready, SHOOT ME! WITH A CANNON!
(Seriously, don’t do that. That would hurt. And hurt is bad. So use your words to bring pain. Be all like, “YOU BROKE YOUR PROMISE YOU QUEEN OF STUPID DIEEEEEE!” Although I admit little to nothing that people say to me bugs me … Whatever. Do it if I fail my unreasonably high expectations of myself.)

I do have a bad habit of stretching myself too thin. I mean, I’ve been trying to do five blog posts a week plus writing plus editing plus reading (a lot!) plus wasting time on Goodreads/Facebook/emailing friends/etc. … and it’s not working! Besides I’m doing school from seven to one or two … so yeah. And then there’s other life stuff …
Okay, I’d better stop complaining. Sorry. 😛
