Short Story Contest

 In Kell's Blog

I’ve decided to write a short story for Homeschooled Authors’ Short Story Contest.

If you’re an author and love Jane Austen, you should definitely enter your story into this competition! The deadline is May 31th 2016. 🙂
What am I going to be writing? Well, I’m not giving you all the details, but it will be based off Emma.
Good luck to anyone who enters the contest!

Thank you, David! 🙂 Hopefully, I’ll be able to find time to finish and edit the story … God willing!

You’ll probably be reading it long before the deadline. I’ve started it a little. Maybe I’ll email it to you later, if you want. I’d like to have a second (or third … or fourth … or fiftieth) opinion … and who better than such an EMMA enthusiastic! A person who loves EMMA SOOOOOO much that she would, and I quote, “feed it to her dogs.” 😉

    Yes, email it to me!!!
And when I said … THAT … I was, like, delirious … so don’t hold it against me for the rest of my life! 😉 😛

I’m not holding it against you! It was, like, one of the most amazing things you’d ever said! It wasn’t a moment of delirium … it was a moment of genius!!! We must feed all good things to our dogs. My Gidget dines on Pride and Prejudice …. not Pride and Prejudice and Zombies! Which is an actual book, you know … I saw it at Fred Meyer. *shivers* What will they think of next ….
I was sorely tempted to buy it for my sister. “I got you a classic, Robin … with a twist!”

    Lol!! 🙂 I AM PRETTY SMART! 😉
Did you look at the back and see what it was about?!
    Did you get a picture?!?!
It is a classic with a twist! Haha!
It’s like a fireplace but the catch is, instead of fire, it’s ice! So like a ice-place. Like an air conditioner.

I didn’t take a picture. I did read the back cover … and the first page.
“It is a truth universally acknowledged that a zombie in possession of brains must be in want of more brains.”
OH WOW!!! And apparently there’s going to be a movie …. *moans*
