Sunshine by Kellyn Roth

 In Kell's Blog

Sun, Clouds, Sky, Cloudy, Rays

I know … I’ve been posting a lot of poems recently. 🙂 But it’s easy and fun and, honestly, I’m really excited to share them with you! They may not be masterpieces … but it takes me an average of fifteen minutes to dash one up, and I really haven’t time for a longer post this today. 😉

Joy is like the sunshine

Dancing on the wind

It brings us warmth and laughter

And then it’s gone again.

~*~*~*~*~

And though the clouds may cover

And keep the light from view

We know above the tempest

The sky behind is blue.

Thanks for reading! Don’t forget to let me know what you think … I love comments! 😀

Definitely! A lot easier, too! My weather here doesn’t always cooperate with the poems. I write a piece about sunshine … and it decides to rain …. 😉

Ah, crazy weather. I wrote a poem about weather and unpredictable weathermen reports a couple weeks ago. I thought about sharing it on my blog, but I haven’t decided whether or not I should yet.

It sounds interesting! Ah, weathermen. We usually just bet that what will happen weatherwise will be the exact opposite of what they say. 😉

Hehe, but when we predict the opposite of what they say, it actually ends up being what they predicted it to be.
                Maybe I will post it…

I did decide to post it, because the poem still amuses me even after two weeks so there’s got to be some element of humor in there…

Yes, that’s a pretty good test for a poem … or anything you wrote. XD If you still like it after a certain amount of time, then obviously it’s got to be good. 😉

Hehe, yeah. Not sure if I like the style or all of the lines, but I really enjoy the overall concept of it, and I think posting it was a good idea.
