Souls Astray: Blog Tour Intro {Giveaway, Posts, & More!}

by Kellyn Roth |
May 4, 2019

Well. It’s time for crazy screaming and random crying because SOULS ASTRAY IS LIVE ON AMAZON, AND THE BLOG TOUR IS HAPPENING!

And there’s a giveaway! And it includes some special things you can do to earn extra points (#KellSaysYoureGreat).

I’m just so excited that I don’t want to wait another moment, so let’s get on with it!

Note: this blog tour I’m doing something in different in that I’m not posting every day but every other day (so Saturday, Monday, Wednesday). A bit less pressure on busy Kell, a bit fewer posts for you to read!

So-Far Blog Tour Recap

Review & Interview with Troy and Harrington // Amie W. @ Crazy A

Aggghhh, this review! (I mean, the interview was fun, but I didn’t get to read the review today!) Not only is it terribly sweet, but it’s also terribly quotable!)

My Favorites:

When I pick up Kellyn’s books, I expect magic to happen, to love and hate the characters with a passion.  Because Kellyn’s books are passionate, full and just dripping with passion.

But it’s not the bad kind of passion, not the kind of passion that makes an innocent, Christian, homeschooled teenage girl cringe.  It’s the kind that takes you out of the world you’re in, and takes you into the time period she’s writing.  It’s the kind of passion that makes you forget where you are and makes you feel what the characters are feeling.

I had no idea anyone could ever think that I wrote like that! Wow. ?

Review // Abigail McKenna @ Novels, Dragons, and Wardrobe Doors

This one is so cool! I so agree with those GIFs. My feelings exactly while writing it, girl!

Oh, and she made this cool collage:

Perfection!

Review // Jes Drew @ Agency of Books and Spies

Yesss, this review! Love all the aesthetics shared.

Favorite quote:

So, I got into this story being forewarned it was heavily inspired by All’s Quiet on the Western Front and The Great Gatsby. But it wasn’t until further into the story that I learned that Gone with the Wind was apparently an influencer also (the relationships, not the era)! All three together! I was not ready for that.
Yeah, me neither …

Interview // Angela R. Watts @ The Peculiar Messenger

Always fun to interview with Miss Ang! I actually talk about how I got started with historical fiction in this one which is … an interesting story to say the least.

Guest Post by Adele // Merie Shen @ Imperial Scribis

Merie asked Adele what her best relationship advice was. Oh, boy. We all know no one’s more messed up than our resident belle.

Rule #1, don’t fall in love. Not that you’ll be able to help it, but just don’t. And when you do fall for those blue eyes, because in the end you will, don’t you ever, ever tell him. Not to be a skeptic, but I am a skeptic, so I’m going to be a skeptic: Men. Don’t. Love. Like. We. Do.

Oh, dear. I’ll leave you to discover the rest for yourself. ?

  1. Congrats on the release of Souls Astray! I’m a huge fan of HF, so this book sounds right up my alley. 😉 My favourite time period of history has to probably be the American Civil War, but honestly pretty much all history fascinates me. (which is why HF is my favourite genre xD)

  2. Congratulations on your book release! The Great Gatsby and Gone with the Wind are some of my favorite books, so I think I’ll really like this one! My favorite time period to read about is probably 1861-1877, but I like almost any historical fiction. Again, congrats!

    1. To the best of my ability, yes, always! There’s a little content review for this book which you can find through a link up there (^^) because this book contains some heavier issues, but it’s all from a Christian perspective that focuses on the light rather than the darkness!

  3. I don’t know if it’s me or what, but this is the fifth time I’ve attempted to comment here in the last two days…and I can’t. Hopefully this one goes through!!!

I know I’m late, but goodness gracious!!!!!!!!! I’m so excited for you, Kellyn!! I can’t believe you have another release! I mean…wow!!! *Mind blown* You’re such a quick, efficient writer!!! Good luck on your future endeavors!! ^^
